AlienFX

AlienFX is a CLI and GUI utility to control the lighting effects of your Alienware computer.

I have tested it on Ubuntu, Debian, Kali, Fedora, and Arch Linux. And I am currently the maintainer and main contributor to this project. But I would be happy to except contributions to the project as I’m still learning the python language.

Kali 2017.1

Offensive Security, a few days ago, released the latest version of their Penetration Testing Linux Distribution, Kali Linux 2017.1.

They have added support for RTL8812AU wireless card injection.

Streamlined support for CUDA GPU Cracking.

Amazon AWS and Microsoft Azure availability (GPU Support).

OpenVAS 9 packaged in the repositories.

The repositories have added HTTPS support.

So far I’ve been really enjoying this Distro. They have fixed a lot of the bugs that I found in 2016.2 which is good. So far it’s been really smooth and polished. Kali is still, by far, my favorite PenTesting Distro.
